These little goobers are making paper lanterns at the Museum of American Art. The lantern-making was part of a series of events for the Chinese New Year. There were also martial artists, dancers, dragons, storytellers, and lots and lots of goobers.
All of the entertainment was, of course, free. Unfortunately, I showed up a bit late and didn't have the heart to elbow these kids aside. So, no paper lantern for me.
